AccuWeather has released its Spring 2024 weather outlook, which calls for a "window of opportunity for snowstorms" along the East Coast through the first half of March.

That includes plowable snow, so if you didn't get your fill this winter, there's still time, AccuWeather Veteran Meteorologist and Long-Range Forecaster Paul Pastelok says.

"We may actually see a warmup in the second half of March across the eastern U.S.," Pastelok said, noting additional chances for snow across the interior Northeast into April.

The chances of snow accumulation in major cities after mid-March, however, are slim, he said.

April showers mean increased potential for flooding across the mid-Atlantic, the weather outlet added. The Northeast also faces a tornado risk in months March through May, AccuWeather says.

This weekend will be sunny with temps near 40 on Saturday, Feb. 3, and in the mid-40s on Sunday, Feb. 4, the National Weather Service says.
